Hello! We are very excited to have this new risk-index technology (Dropout Detective) available for Undergraduate Day students. By utilizing the power of Canvas (...and you, and the advisors/coaches who will be analyzing the students) we will be able to identify students who are at risk of failing or dropping out of the school. The index is generated by using a proprietary formula, but basically boils down to using these two Canvas features:

Roll Call Attendance
Assignments with Due Dates

You can help make this system better by using Roll Call Attendance to identify which students are present/absent in your class on any particular day. Please also consider using Assignments, especially with Due Dates so we can make sure that students are submitting work for their courses.
