Renton Technical College prides itself and takes seriously our responsibility to provide all students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and visitors a learning environment that promotes respect and civility. We do not tolerate any form of unlawful discrimination. Sexual harassment, like all forms of discrimination, threatens the well-being of our College community. Sexual harassment is especially threatening in the context of a faculty-student or supervisor-subordinate relationship. Consistent with our mission, vision and values, it is the policy of Renton Technical College to prohibit any behavior or action that is discriminatory. Any alleged violation of our College policy will receive prompt attention as well as any necessary corrective action. Each Renton Technical College employee must adhere to the content presented in our online harassment training, the purpose of which is to ensure a safe and supportive work environment. It is not possible for us to do our work well unless we insist on zero tolerance for any unlawful discrimination or sexual harassment.
